In Memory of Annie Eisner

The Fetch Community is deeply saddened by the passing of Annie Eisner, our Public Relations Director and admired colleague. Annie, a Public Relations major in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, joined Fetch Collective at the beginning of our founding in Fall 2022. Our founder, Sophie Lynch, remembers Annie’s application was the first one she received. Annie's bright personality and creative contributions made her an invaluable member of Fetch. In addition to her other extracurriculars on campus, she committed the “highest amount of work [Sophie] expected out of anyone” to developing the vision of Fetch at its inception.
Sophie speaks more about Annie’s contributions at Fetch: “Annie came to every meeting with new ideas and ways to improve the organization. In addition to her hard work, she was trustworthy and supportive. I knew I could rely on her for all assignments, and she took control of them when I didn’t even ask. Annie was committed to making the fashion and beauty industry more accepting and inclusive and she utilized Fetch’s platform to do so. I am so honored to have worked with Annie. She lit up every room that she walked into.”
As noted by our former editor-in-chief, Annie had a deep passion for the fashion and beauty industry and enjoyed sharing and expressing that love to the Syracuse community. Annie’s mother, Jodi Eisner, says "Annie was a fashionista from the time she was little.” In true Fetch fashion, “She always accessorized with necklaces, purses, sunglasses, and feather boas. Many of you know her for her signature headbands.” Annie shared her love for the fashion business with her grandfather, who has worked in the fashion retail business his entire career and enjoyed traveling to new shopping destinations together.
"Annie was incredibly proud to be a part of Fetch Collective and was looking forward to increasing her role within the magazine,” says Jodi. We at Fetch remember Annie’s kindness, passion, and contributions fondly and are incredibly grateful for the time she shared with us.
